He gained recognition for his unique blend of the stylish era of the 1930s and the high art of the 1950s. Freyman’s art is distinguished by elegant and sensual figures that exude an aura of glamour and prosperity. He often depicted his subjects in social or public settings, imparting a distinctly urban and sophisticated feel to his work. Freyman’s expertise with the airbrush technique enabled him to create limited edition pieces, each unique in its own way. He personally signed and numbered each piece, adding to the exclusivity of his artwork. This technique allowed him to introduce variations within each edition, particularly in background patterns and textures, making each piece even more special. The influence of Cubism is evident in Freyman’s work, reflecting the broader Art Deco trends of the 1930s. He skillfully used flat planes that gracefully transitioned into crisp lines and fluid contours, creating a balanced and elegant style. Freyman’s palette, primarily consisting of soft grays and pinks, offered a subtle contrast to the boldly drawn forms, adding a dynamic quality to his overall composition. 288
