FOTEXCO Regulated Power Supply Model: RPS-512 Hello!! and thank you for looking at my item. ITEM: Up for bids is a used power supply. This unit was manufactured in Taiwan . INFO: Input of 117AC volts@ 60Hz uses 100watts. Output of 13.8 volts DC. 4 Amp constant and 6 Amp surge. It is fuse protected and has Electronic Overload Protection with Instant Automatic Cutoff-Rest. This unit is designed for indoor use only. Exterior is made of metal. INSPECTION: There are use and wear marks on the whole exterior of the unit along with some minor rust, chipping paint and dents. Nothing that will interfere with the operation of the unit. On the front of the unit is the power switch, indicator light and 2 sets of two connection ports (binding posts) and cigarette light style port. On the rear are the cooling fins, the power input cord and the safety fuse port. The fuse is good and is in tact. TESTING: The unit has not been fully tested however minor bench testing was performed as permitted. The unit was plugged in and powered on. The red indicator light does come on. Both sets of the power connections points were tested. The output at both points were 13.9 VDC. No further testing performed. SUMMARY: The unit appears to be in good working condition. No burn marks or smells emitting from unit. The original packaging and instructions are not included. Great bargain buy for radio repairers and or CB and ham operators.
