New from Scotty's Sled Shed is the Heathkit SB-400 and SB-401 Power Supply Restoration Component Kit. A new cost effective approach to rebuilding the power supply in an easy component by component replacement. Twist Tab Capacitors are replaced with my custom PCB Board Kits with modern capacitors. This kit provides modern replacements for: The Twist Tab Capacitors for the High Voltage Power Supply The twist Tab Capacitor for the Low Voltage Power Supply The standalone Electrolytic Capacitors for the Bias Power Supply. Electrolytic Capacitors for the Carrier Generator Circuit Board. The kit includes all capacitors, resistors and diodes to rebuild all the Power Supply section of the SB-400/401. Also includes replacements for the 5 electrolytic capacitors on the Carrier Generator Circuit Board. The Multi-Cap and Uni-Cap Capacitor Circuit boards are professionally designed, developed and produced in an actual factory, with 2oz copper and meet the IPC-2221B Specifications. I reserve the right to substitute components. Please understand I have to navigate supply chain issues as well. Sometimes a blue resistor in the pic is NLA and I have to get black or grey resistors, same with capacitors. These parts are aftermarket. NOT OEM. If you find an issue with the components, please, please reach out to me so I can help resolve the issue. I do not mark the resistors.
