I used this power supply with my Receiver. This power supply will plug right in to your Icom R-75 or Icom R-8500 Radio. It has a heavy 6' DC supply cord and a green pilot light to let you know the supply is active at the ac outlet. This is a level 3, +12vdc, modern switching power supply with a generous 5 amps dc output. Runs a Cool 12vdc in the Radio Room and Quiet in the Receiver. My receiver ran cooler with this power supply. Includes a 6' detachable ac power cord allowing flexible and convenient location of the receiver even far away from your favored 110vac receptacle.
