We really cannot expect a 30, 50, or 100 year old dish, for example, to be blemish free. Rather we hope the item was once loved and taken care of as we hope to love them and care for them ourselves. Point being, nothing is going to be perfect and blemish free. However, I do carefully inspect all my Items prior to listing them and would not offer for sale any Item that is DAMAGED nor would I one that is excessively marred and I will always highlight any areas that may be questioned with photos of the area in question.
