Description

This is a stunning lithograph of Marc Chagall's "Les Bouquet Volant" - or "The Flying Bouquet". This lithograph has been custom framed & matted. It has a facsimile signature of Chagall, since it was published after he had passed. It is limited edition and hand numbered in pencil in the bottom left hand corner of the lithograph (206/500 I). It is in very good condition and has been custom framed and matted. The frame has been intentionally distressed and it compliments the lithograph perfectly. Within the matting, the lithograph measures about 27.5 inches wide by 22 inches tall. Framed, it measures about 39 inches wide by 33 inches tall. Please feel free to contact us with any questions! About the artist and the artwork Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985) was a Russian French artist. He practiced a wide variety of art and artistic styles. He was inseparable with his wife of 30 years, Bell Rosenfeld, and his life staggered to a halt when she passed unexpectedly in 1945. Once he began painting again, his art reflected his grief. His artwork pioneered a new world of painting and is still collected and treasured worldwide today.
