Description
All in one power supply for your QRP station! I make these to order, so please allow two to three weeks for shipment, once purchased. With batteries installed, as pictured, four output voltages are available. 6 and/or 12 volts dc for tube filaments (1 amp), plus 48 volts dc for regenerative receiver plate and detector circuits (50 ma), plus high voltage B+ for a QRP transmitter tube (6V6, 12V6, 1625, etc.). The no-load, filtered B+ voltage is around 350 volts, which will drop to about 200 volts dc, with a 30 to 50ma current drain. This is quite adequate for a 4 to 6 watts output, QRP transmitter. I've used and sold similar power supplies over the years, with no issues reported. Even though this power supply is battery driven, it is just as lethal as any dc power supply plugged into an ac outlet, and can kill you dead if you do not treat it with respect!! PLEASE do not purchase this item if you are not familiar with the potential hazards involved! There's no regulation, so output voltages can vary, depending on the batteries life cycle. But, with fresh batteries the voltages will be close to those stated. You'll need four 9 volt batteries, and three of the 3.7 volt, 26650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, as pictured. Of course, you may use the Li-ion rechargeable types, as well, for the 9 volt batteries. (No batteries are included in this listing). Build yourself a WWII Paraset Spy Transceiver and use this to power it! Shipping to the US only.
