Description

Ricciardo's nickname (The Honey Badger") originated with a former trainer, Stuart Smith, who showed the driver a documentary about the famous mammal known for its strength, ferocity and fearlessness. Both agreed that Daniel shared many qualities with the animal. As he's progressed in Formula 1, Ricciardo has kept the moniker in the back of his mind as a reminder to be relentless on overtakes.
