It is equipped with two illuminated meters, Voltmeter and Ammeter, and a knob for adjusting the output voltage. The SPS1050S can be set for a fixed output voltage of 13.5VDC or adjustable 9 to 15VDC selected by a practical "VAR/FIX" front panel slide switch. A front panel rocker controls ON-OFF power and green and red LED indicators show output health and over-temperature conditions, respectively. The SPS1050S is cooled by a large internal rear panel fan. The permanently attached AC cord is a standard USA 3-prong grounded plug. Rear panel DC connectors are 5-way binding posts with removable red and black thumbscrews for stripped wire, ring terminals and banana plugs.
