This listing is for a Current transformer, connections are the two terminals on the top, with the monitored wire going through the center. Power and frequency ratings are marked on the top plate. A current transformer is used to safely measure large currents by reducing the current to a level that can be easily read by a lower current ammeter. This Weston meter would measure a 20 amp AC current from a wire going through the center producing a 100 milliamp current at the devices terminals. As it is measuring current not voltage, high voltage power can be safely observed by just passing the one wire of the high voltage cable through the center of the transformer.
