Workman Electronics KW2000A Replacement 12 Volt DC Power Cord Plug For Alinco, Kenwood, Icom, and Yaesu HF Radios The Workman KW2000A is a direct replacement, 12 Volt power cord plug for Alinco, Kenwood, Icom and Yaesu Transceivers, used to repair/replace or build 12 VDC power cords. It is an older "standard" plug for many transceivers and if the plug in the picture matches your plug (and mates with the jack on your rig), it will work with your radio. Comes complete with the nylon body, an outer protective black rubber boot and 4 crimp/solder pins that snap in place. Note, 4 pins is what most radios use despite there being 6 positions. If you need 6 pins, we do NOT carry extra pins and you will need to order a second set. These are pre-packaged items and we can not part them out. For wiring, divide your power leads in half (or run two wires each for positive and negative) then, crimp and/or solder to the pins. For assembly, The two positions on the right (facing from the rear) are for POSITIVE leads and the two in the middle are for NEGATIVE. Again, only four pins are commonly used so the two positions on the left, are left empty.
